Fitment Verification Terminal.
Prevent machine downtime and holder damage. Verify the exact geometric compatibility of ValidTi titanium blanks with your CAD/CAM milling infrastructure before loading the first job.
01 Primary Machine Compatibility Matrix
Roland DWX Series
Compatible with DWX-51D, 52D, 52DCi, and 53DC. Native fitment for all open 98mm holders.
VHF S5 / S1 / S2
Specific groove geometry required for VHF mechanical interlock systems. Prevents blank slippage.
Zirkonzahn Systems
Exact 95.0mm diameter with specified Zirkonzahn edge geometry for secure fitment in Z-holders.
02 Forensic Fitment Audit Protocol (SOP)
Before loading, use a digital caliper to verify Ø 98.5mm (Step) or 95.0mm (Zirkonzahn). Variance >0.1mm indicates a potential holder mismatch.
Ensure holder screws are torqued to machine manufacturer specifications. Titanium requires 20% higher clamping force than zirconia to prevent micro-vibration.
Confirm that the CAM software library (Exocad/3Shape) matches the physical blank geometry (e.g., Grooved vs. Standard Step).
Why Fitment Precision Matters
"Incompatible blank geometry is the leading cause of spindle bearing wear and tool breakage in titanium milling. Even a 0.05mm gap in the holder interface can cause harmonic resonance, destroying surface finish and fitment on the implant platform."
